Disneyland

Our family went to Disneyland in November. We went to celebrate Emma's 5th birthday and enjoy a day away from reality. The day was perfect weather and there were no crowds at all. It was an enjoyable day. We even ran into Katie and her kids a couple of times! I love that place.....so many memories.

Halloween Fun

We had lots of fun at Trunk or Treat and Trick or Treating. The kids got way too much candy and had tons of fun doing so! Brody was a lion at trunk or treat but wouldn't leave the top on so he was a cowboy on Halloween. Emma was Sleeping Beauty and Mason was a clone trooper. Daniel enjoyed dressing up as Elder Vader and being in disguise most the night.

Carvin' Pumpkins

Here are our pumpkins- Me & Emma did a cat, Mason a dragon, Jess a wolf, Daniel and Billy did freaky faces.

My Lil Bakers

The kids all pitched in and made me a Birthday cake. Even little Brody had to get up on the stool! Needless to say it was very yummy.

The Pumpkin Patch

We went to the Pumpkin Patch the week of Halloween. I took the kids out of school early and apent a nice afternoon with them. Brody didn't want anything to do the petting zoo but enjoyed running around.

Happy Birthday to Me!

I had my 31st birthday on October 28th. My birthday present was going to Oregon to visit my sister. My mom, my sisters Emilee & Minajean, and me all headed to Oregon to visit Sarah(our youngest sis). We each brought our youngest and left the rest of the brood with Daddys. It was a 2 day drive to get there and back but we were able to spend some quality time up there. I got to see my niece and nephew I hadn't seen in 2 years.

Mason Scout Awards

Mason recieved his Bobact in Boy Scouts. He loves scouts and is excited about earning new badges!

Melon Days '08

We went to our annual family reunion in Green River, Ut for Melon Days in late September. Once again we loaded the van and headed to Utah. We stayed 1 week and had lots of fun spending time with family. The older kids get to ride on a family float in the little town's parade while the younger ones collect candy on the street. Then we went to the city park to let the kids playand eat all the watermelon they can stand. Everything is free so they wore themselves out. Daniel and Carlos took all the kids to Goblin Valley. They climbed on rocks and hid in caves. The mom's stayed back with babies since it's not very stroller friendly. On the last day we rented out the community center and had a big breakfast with all of my extended family.

Brody's Birthday Party

We had a small get together with family to celebrate Brody's birthday. We enjoyed cake, presents, and each others company!

Brody Turns 1

My baby turned 1 on August 10th. He is our angel baby. From the day he came to this world he has been an absolute joy. Brody Jay brought sunshine to our cloudy days and we thank our Heavenly Father for allowing us to be his parents! He is sweet, chubby, cuddly, smiley, stubborn, loving, curious and busy. Oh how I love this boy! Here is a slide show of Brody's first year.

First Day of School

I had 3 this year to help get ready for the first day of school. All of them were excited and could not wait. Emma started Kindergarten, Mason started 3rd grade and Jess started 7th. It's just me and Brody in the mornings and I'm enjoying that time.

Summer 2008

Summer came and went in a flash. Here are some highlights.

The kids and I packed up the van and went to Utah for 2 weeks. First stop was St George to see Emilee and then off to Green River to see my mom.

In Green River we just hung out and let the kids go wild and crazy! We went to the "beach", had sleepovers with cousins, swam at the local KOA pool, rock climbed, and ate fresh fruit and veggies from my mom's garden and orchard till we were sick.
